The second stop in our 18 day National Park Tour of 2017, we stayed at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park – Raintree Lake. The campground is located about 4 miles off the highway in southern Indiana and serves as a destination campground for the area being made up of over half the sites being seasonal.
We stayed at site #97 located towards the back of the park facing a large grassy park area. It was the only row of 50 amp pull-throughs (which was nice). The sites are super close together. There was only a few feet between us and our neighbors. We’ve stayed at RV parks where the sites were tight, but this was taking it to a whole new level.

Site #97
Aside from the close quarters, our site was nice in that we had a view of a big grassy area (easy for walking the dogs) and down the road from the lake.

Across from our campsite.

Lake View
Super quick overnight stop as we made our way down to Smokey Mountain National Park. It wasn’t the worse place we’ve stayed at (see Delta Lake State Park) but if we were traveling that route again, I’d probably look for a different campground.
