A stop on our Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, we hard originally planned to spend a couple of days at Giant City State Park before heading over to FFerne Clyffe State Park but we ended up only spending one night. The campground is far away from the great trails and sights of the State Park and we didn’t have a car with us. Would like to get back there someday (with a vehicle) to truly explore this state park. I hear it’s beautiful.

Giant City State Park Site #35
The nice thing about camping the week of Thanksgiving is that the campgrounds are pretty empty (there may have been 5 other campers the night we were there).

Giant City State Park Campground in November
The spots are fairly close together so not much privacy during peak season.
