The second stop in our fall trip to the Adirondacks, we spent a couple of days relaxing at Allegany State Park in New York. After leaving Huron River Valley Resort in Ohio, we headed east and made our way to the park. The park itself is fairly easy to find right off of Interstate 86.
We camped in the Quaker area of the park , Cain Hollow campground. Our spot #72 was reserved in advance and was located at the end of the loop road. Aside from one night, we had no neighbors.
Unfortunately because we didn’t have a car we weren’t able to get out and explore the park. However, it was a nice couple of days totally disconnected from the world (no cell service). Time was spent just enjoying the fresh air and hanging out with the dogs.
